This weekend I'll be exhibiting in the 16th Annual Telephone Factory Art Show. This will be my fourth time participating in this event, and once again I'll be in our friend Sunny's loft 102. Joining me will be artist Amy Prasad and potter Lori Buff, and Kate will once again provide the snacks. And as if that wasn't enough going on, at 2:00 on Saturday, my band mates fromHicks with Picks will stop by and play some bluegrass for about an hour.

It is that time of year again. No, not quite Christmas yet. Rather, it is time for the Telephone Factory Art Show this Saturday 11-7 and Sunday 1-6. It's always a great show and a lot of fun. Looks like over 30 artists will be exhibiting, including yours truly. You also get to check out the cool loft apartments at Telephone Factory, and our good friend Sunny has graciously let us use her space again this year.

Fall is my favorite time of year. I think it was first instilled in me because my birthday is in November. When I was young I loved fall festivals, Halloween, and Thanksgiving dinner. As I got older I began to look forward to football season, cool weather, fireplaces, and later in life, lower electric bills. 

 If anyone is interested, I'm going to produce some notecards for the holiday of this image from Rocky Mountain National Park. The title is "Lone Ranger" and I painted this in 22 degree weather in February last year with Kate.  November is shaping up to be an exciting month! In addition to the fabulous colors of fall, I'm busy getting ready for the 14th Annual Telephone Factory Art Show.
