Artwalk

 Friday night's art walk was a lot of fun. Many thanks to George, Jason, Terry, Sean, Olivia, John, Jared and the rest of the group at Farm Burger and Fowler Farms for their support.

A big thank you to everyone that came by the show. It is always such a great feeling to share my work and see everyone's response. One unique thing about this display was the fact that very possibly, people were viewing a painting that depicted their dinner that night. And yes, I did use that joke a lot Friday night.

I also wanted to mention that Kate and I had a great Saturday also. We went to the Chomp 'n' Stomp festival in Cabbagetown. We ate the best corn dog ever at the Palookaville truck. Seriously, it is better than the Fletcher's corn dogs at the Texas State Fair, which is saying a lot. We then saw several good bluegrass bands, including one of my favorites, the Dappled Grays. Then we wound up seeing the Dappled Grays again with Slim Pickins at the Five Spot later that night.

Great times, although I hate to say that the University of Phoenix Stadium will not be in the Stadium series any time soon.

Speaking of which, I added galleries for the Farm to Canvas and Stadium series specifically. You can find them on the right or on the Galleries menu item. I also added a Noctures gallery. It only has one painting so far, but more to come.
